How does the wire welding process work?

Wire welding is a process that is based on permanently joining two pieces of metal by heating and pressure. For steel wire, spot welding is most commonly used, where heat is generated by an electric current flowing through the contacting ends of the wire.

At Robomet, the entire welding process is optimized through the use of modern CNC machines, which ensure the precision and repeatability of each completed part. After welding, wire gratings can undergo additional operations, such as reheating the frames or bending and reinforcing with a flat bar. As a result, the products gain additional strength and aesthetics that meet the expectations of even the most demanding customers.
